Hello Friends, Over 10 years ago I started my business out of my home as a hobby with only 30 prints. Now I have over 4000 prints available and you can find my art in stores all over the country and even internationally. What a ride! Who knew my little hobby would turn out like this! You can get a lot of my prints atwww.jenniferpugh.com.

I create traditional art prints with a modern day twist and am always trying to stay up to date with the current trends. I am constantly on the lookout for new ideas and inspirations. I am inspired by home decor, fashion, photography, nature, my children and the world around me. I love rich inviting colors and textures. If you have a specific idea or want a certain design I can create a custom print for you. Send me an email at info@jenniferpugh.com and we can discuss.

To help celebrate 10 years in business please join me on FaceBook for a giveaway every Wednesday.  Please be sure to follow and like my page to participate.

I could not have reached 10 years without loyal fans and friends. Thank you for your love and support. I enjoy sharing my art with you.

Decoratoring Tips on Picking the Right Throw Pillows for Your Room Everyone craves a change from time to time, but painting the walls a different color or reupholstering the furniture is not always the solution we can or want to go for. The easiest and affordable way to give your room an instant makeover is to add a set of decorative throw pillows. It’s this type of low-key modification that can give tremendous outcomes, and most importantly, it can be easily reversed if you don’t like the effect or get bored with it again. A vibrant throw pillow can transform an entire room’s decor and deliver a bold color statement. Discover ways to bring a pop of color into your home with beautiful, bright throw pillows. Consider size.  Standard squares (about 16-18 inches) nest neatly on sofas with typical dimensions. Oversize pillows (24 inches) create a more casual, loungey feel. If you have a modern sofa with a very low back, consider 16 inches. Use an odd number of pillows. In design, odd numbers tend to be more artful. Try one, three, or five, depending on the size of your furniture and the look you want (one for a chair, three or five for a standard 88-inch sofa). There’s nothing wrong about a symmetrical look, so if you want to have four pillows, don’t give up on the idea.  Just choose 2 identical pairs, preferably one solid and one patterned pillow on each side. Create a mixed “pillowscape.” An easy combo: a matched pair of square solids that contrast with the color of your sofa, one oblong pillow for the center of the couch, and two interesting outliers—patterned, embellished, or oddly shaped—that reference either the color of your upholstery or the color of your solid pillows. Put together a pairing. To keep a look clean, work in pairs, with patterned pillows in front and solids as the backdrop. Play with Color. Pillows are one of the easiest and quickest ways to experiment with color. Add Different Shapes. Round pillows are unusual and kick things up a notch. I love the contrast between the organic and the graphic — round and rectangular.  The shapes are a nice change from all the squares in the world! Address the whole room. Think of a living room’s pillows as a family. The pillow on a chair doesn’t have to match the group on the sofa, but if it relates in some way—palette, style—the space feels unified and polished.

Storage. Put a decorative basket or storage bin in the room for holding accent pillows when they’re not being used. For example, set a wicker basket behind the couch to toss pillows in while entertaining in the living room. Or hide pillows when they’re not needed by keeping them in a plastic bin placed underneath the bed. The storage area keeps pillows fresh and clean.
